Wheatsville Food Co-op is a natural foods cooperative grocery store — the only cooperative of its type in Texas. Their unique take on the traditional grocery store doesn’t exclude them from dealing with a common pain in retail — staff being chained to a PC. When choosing a tablet, they wanted to give workers the ability to get out of cramped back offices and onto the store floor as needed without sacrificing the full Windows experience. The solution? A Windows 10 2-in-1.
To see how a 2-in-1 might free users to get more done, we challenged their staff to get through the workday using only the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S. The results proved a fresh approach was a healthy move for the grocer.
“My typical day is spent chained to a PC,” says Nina Norton, category management coordinator. “The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S was very liberating.” With it, Nina was able to get a taste of the potential mobility unlocks — without having to sacrifice functionality.
