We have all read that the pandemic has been tough on local, independent businesses. You probably know a business owner or small company that has experienced hardship. While trying to stay afloat, they are also working hard to create a hybrid work environment or hybrid service model in response to the new customer and market expectations.

But that’s not the entire story. There is a bright light at the end of this dark tunnel, which points to a very bright and vibrant future for small and medium businesses across the country.

For example, the number of new business applications from the U.S. Census is up 38 percent compared to the year before the pandemic, as local, regional, and the national economy have continued to rebound from the lowest points of the pandemic. But new businesses and business models are being created that also create more opportunities.

Indeed, as Allison Schrager of the Manhattan Institute writes, the economic and social disruption spurred by the pandemic seems to have powered a wave of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Here at Samsung, we’re in a unique position: We have partnerships across a vast range of businesses — industries, geographies and all sizes. This unique perspective allows us to share and incubate ideas that can help propel this entrepreneurial recovery forward. Furthermore, it is part of our company DNA that we believe everyone should have access to and have the ability to leverage technology to their benefit regardless of who or where you are.

To help recognize the resiliency and strength of small businesses nationwide, we’re giving away three Business Tech Bundles that celebrate and empower business owners. At the center of each bundle is our productivity powerhouse, the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. These bundles will help business owners run their business from anywhere, and anyone can nominate their favorite business — from 1-99 employees in size — for a chance to win.

To nominate your favorite business, it’s as simple as commenting on the social posts below!

Three randomly selected businesses will be gifted a technology package that includes a Galaxy Z Fold3 5G with the S Pen Pro, an M7 Smart Monitor, a pair of Galaxy Buds and a Smart Keyboard. It’s everything a business owner needs to stay productive, no matter where they day brings them — to the office, to a client site or the front desk of their storefront.

Not only will winning businesses receive this prize package, but they’ll get the opportunity to share knowledge with a Samsung solutions engineer who can provide tips on transforming their business workflows with mobile technology.

Head to our Samsung social channels to enter, and see terms and conditions here. The contest begins on November 22 and runs through November 28. Winners will be notified beginning on November 30.

Throughout 2021 and beyond, Samsung aims to help businesses of all sizes reach their full potential through the power of technology. We look forward to seeing submissions from across the country, and wish the best for businesses everywhere as we head into what is sure to be an important and successful holiday season.

Here’s to moving forward, together.
