Samsung’s new Galaxy Ring is finally here, adding yet another form factor to the Galaxy connected experience. Unveiled at the July 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event after half a year of anticipation since it was first teased in JanuaryGalaxy Ring introduces an ultra-sleek and stylish way to track your health and wellness. It’s also equipped with Galaxy AI,1 as are the equally impressive new Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra.

If you’re just getting started — or looking to get started — with health tracking, Galaxy Watch7 gives you an AI-enabled smartwatch packed with easy and insightful features. If you’re already immersed in health tracking, wearing both Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Ring can equip you to take your knowledge and data to the next level. And if you’re extremely active, Galaxy Watch Ultra is designed with extra durability in mind. Wherever you are in your wellness journey, Samsung’s newest wearables empower you to live an active, balanced life so you can be your most inspired and productive self at work.

Galaxy Watch7: Your daily AI health tracker

In all of Samsung’s newest devices, from smartphones to tablets to wearables, the overarching reason to buy is Galaxy AI. While many AI programs are designed for the desktop experience first and then for mobile devices second (if at all), Samsung’s AI platform is mobile-first and, with each new Unpacked, growing fast. On Galaxy Watch7, the AI features include:

  • Energy score: Start your day with a score that calculates your physical readiness based on what you did yesterday and how you slept last night.
  • Wellness tips: Stay on track with your goals with Galaxy AI’s personalized suggestions. Your Galaxy Watch gathers insights and syncs them with your Galaxy phone, such as Galaxy Z Fold6 for an expandable tablet display or Galaxy Z Flip6 for a more compact flip phone.
  • Heart rate tracking: Get the most out of your workouts using enhanced Heart Rate Tracking with Galaxy AI, which filters out your body’s movements for a more accurate reading.
  • Sleep tracking: Develop healthy habits for more restful nights. Once again, your Galaxy Watch collects data and displays it on your Galaxy phone. Samsung’s sleep tracking is also capable of detecting moderate to severe sleep apnea, the first FDA-certified feature on the Watch.
  • Compete with your past self: Run or bike at your best each day as Galaxy AI compares your latest performance against your previous comparable performance. The Compete with Past Self feature works for outdoor running and cycling with the same starting point and path.
  • Suggested replies: Easily respond to texts on the go with suggestions from Galaxy AI. Unlike the standardized suggestions on other phones, Galaxy AI provides personalized suggestions based on your conversations.

To make the most of Galaxy AI on a new Galaxy Watch, make sure you have a compatible Samsung Galaxy phone and are signed in to your Samsung account.

Galaxy Watch Ultra: All the above and rugged

Fitness is addictive. Once you’re committed, you’re constantly craving the next challenge. The Compete with Past Self feature with Galaxy AI is reason enough for a fitness addict to get a new Galaxy Watch, but how do you know whether to go with Galaxy Watch7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra? The difference is in durability. While Galaxy Watch7 is certainly built to last, Galaxy Watch Ultra is rugged and ready for anything. It’s the watch for those who put themselves to the toughest workouts in challenging environments and conditions.

With Galaxy Watch Ultra, you get the full suite of Galaxy AI features in Galaxy Watch7, plus Samsung’s longest-lasting watch battery ever. From Monday morning runs to Thursday night basketball, Galaxy Watch Ultra battery goes up to 100 hours of typical use on a single charge. Galaxy Watch Ultra also has a 10 ATM water-resistance classification, meaning it can withstand up to 100m of fresh water for up to 10 minutes, and an IP68 rating that clears it for use in up to 6 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Triathlon training, anyone?

Galaxy Ring: The style you want, the insights you need

Now, let’s talk about the new headliner of Samsung’s wearables: Galaxy Ring. It merges a wellness tracker’s convenience with a sleek band’s timeless elegance. It’s always on — literally and digitally — from the conference room to the yoga studio to dinner with family and friends.

The amazing thing about Galaxy Ring is that it has all the features of a Galaxy Watch, including Galaxy AI, in a device that’s so much smaller. As a sleep tracker, fitness tracker, and all-around health tracker, it’s barely noticeable other than for a subtle hint of style. It’s water- and scratch-resistant and can last up to seven days on a single charge. Choose from Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold based on the look you like best. Samsung’s Galaxy Ring sizing kit makes it easy to find a flawless fit.
