The Challenge

Transforming operations and enhancing the guest experience

With nearly 100 locations worldwide, Altitude Trampoline Park welcomes thousands of visitors every day. From entry to exit, these guests expect speed, efficiency and clarity for a smooth and memorable visit.

However, many parks still relied on outdated tools. Whiteboards behind the front desk provided visitors with information, and thumb drives had to be physically plugged into TVs to display promotional content. Each update then required the process to be repeated. This created operational inefficiencies, inconsistent branding across locations and limited opportunities to engage guests in real time.

To overcome these issues, elevate the guest experience and stay on the cutting edge of the rapidly evolving FEC sector, franchise owners recognized a new approach was needed to maximize visitor throughput by streamlining sign-in, enhancing safety monitoring and creating more dynamic in-park marketing. They found it in digital signage technology.

“Technology could be the differentiator that puts Altitude Trampoline Park out in front of our competitors,” explained Grady Hinchman, a multi-unit Altitude Trampoline Park owner and managing partner in Florida with locations in West Palm Beach and Kissimmee. “With the analytics we’re able to get from certain programs, and the ability to market to the right people at the right time with the right message, we can be at the forefront of the FEC world.”

With the goal to improve both the guest experience and the bottom line, Altitude Trampoline Park owners made the leap of faith to ditch the antiquated methods and turn to technology to transform its locations into game-changing venues within the FEC space.

“We wanted to make sure that technology ultimately benefits the franchisee and enhances the brand,” added Hinchman.

With innovative displays, a centralized CMS and an AI monitoring system, they could create a true technology ecosystem across the parks that could scale across franchise locations, reduce the burden on general managers and deliver a modern experience where families spent less time in queues and more time on the trampolines.

To enable this transition to a tech-forward operation, the franchise needed a technology partner that could provide a best-in-class solution for digital signage.

The Solution

Altitude Trampoline Park takes a generational leap with Samsung tech

Altitude Trampoline Park’s search for a technology partner wasn’t just about finding new signage, but also someone who could share its vision. A critical element of this was how any digital signage solution would align with their use of Cielo Vision AI.

Installed across the parks, the system uses an array of cameras to continuously monitor activity on the courts. In real time, AI analyzes a series of programmed tasks that align with park rules, such as checking if too many jumpers are on a trampoline, confirming a court monitor is present and flagging a slip or fall. When an issue is detected, the system pushes messages directly to nearby displays, ensuring staff and guests are immediately informed.

Samsung VXT made this possible. The cloud-based CMS gave users complete control over any screen in the ecosystem and enabled the delivery of the right content to the right audience at the right time.

“Samsung really embraced the vision that Cielo was trying to create with this fully functioning technology ecosystem,” said Hinchman.

That ecosystem included the installation of Samsung 65″ QBC Series 4K UHD displays that were placed throughout the parks like at the front desks, concession stands and private party rooms. In Florida, nine screens were installed in West Palm Beach, six in Kissimmee and five in Sanford. In Lawrenceville, Georgia, 16 were added. Thanks to the simple and fast process, each location was up and running with next-gen technology in mere days. That’s also due to the way VXT was designed.

“Samsung VXT’s modern system architecture makes it reliable, scalable and easy to use, even for a first-time user,” explained Heather Gramcko, executive director of solutions and services at Samsung.

The immediate impact was game-changing at multiple levels, from venue operations and revenue generation to safety and the guest experience. Samsung displays in the entryway and at the front desk, for example, streamlined check-ins and guided families through waivers, cutting down queues.

“The technology, first and foremost, is about getting as many people through the queue as quickly as possible,” said Hinchman. “If we’re at capacity, we can use the displays to show wait times.”

In food and beverage areas, digital menu boards combined with VXT became powerful sales tools. Instead of displaying the same menu all day, the boards could now strategically spotlight deals, promotions and new products according to the time of day and flow of the crowd.

Ben Thomas, who has owned an Altitude Trampoline Park franchise in Huntsville, Alabama since 2017, added: “Before, if we wanted to display content, we had to create it, put it on a USB and run it on a loop. There was no way to schedule it. Now, we can display content when we want, exactly to the customers we want.”

At his new Peachtree City location in Georgia, Thomas revealed the goal is to fully integrate Samsung VXT signage solutions across all attractions. From the moment a guest walks in, the system delivers a frictionless experience — be it completing waivers, purchasing jump passes or moving seamlessly onto attractions.

“I want that journey to feel connected rather than fragmented. Imagine walking in and being greeted. The technology follows the guest through the park, guiding them with rules when needed or alerting them if a safety protocol is missed. We see this as a living lab — a test bed where we’ll deploy the entire Samsung–Cielo tech stack and really push the boundaries of what a smart entertainment park can be,” Thomas explained.

Cielo Vision integration also gave park owners new ways to improve safety — a key goal of both Samsung and Altitude Trampoline Park. When Cielo Vision detects rules being broken and incidents occurring, Samsung VXT pushes alerts so court monitors know to step in and address the issue or clear other guests from the area, preventing further injury.

“In an environment like this, creating family fun is the goal but safety is paramount. So with Samsung helping to create streamlined safety operations, the staff can focus on creating a better guest experience and engaging with the people who are in the park” said Gramcko.

The Results

A jump in revenue and sky-high potential for ROI

With Samsung displays managed by VXT installed in key areas, Altitude Trampoline Park achieved a generational leap in operations and visitor enjoyment. Managers and team members are also sharing the joy.

“We’re using VXT multiple times per day to make sure we’re engaging with our guests. We’re building schedules and exciting custom content to make it engaging. It’s user-friendly, and our managers love it. There are so many operational efficiencies that will steadily deliver ROI,” Hinchman stated.

One of the biggest returns on investment has come at the concessions counter. With Samsung VXT and digital menu boards replacing static signage, in-park marketing and promotions are dynamically updated, and ads can be tested at specific times to see which resonate best. The result was impressive, Thomas noted.

“We are able to display strategic ads to customers,” Thomas said.

Hinchman agreed that the introduction of the Samsung VXT platform made his park more efficient and strategic with pricing.

“With the VXT platform, you can have a different menu every single day, with specials pushed out at the right times and the right pricing. It even allows for variable pricing based on foot traffic, giving us more flexibility with how pricing and content are presented. We used to just set it, forget it and hope for the best. Now, we’re hitting more eyes at the right moments to maximize visitor spend.”

Another way Samsung VXT increases ROI is by reducing running costs.

“The platform allows us to control power cycling, turn screens on and off, adjust settings and manage everything from a single location, so displays aren’t running 24/7 unnecessarily. It’s efficient, seamless and saves both time and energy,” Thomas said.

By standardizing Samsung displays across parks, Altitude Trampoline Park has also given this group of franchisees a proven, easy-to-use system that aligns with corporate strategy but still allows flexibility at the local level. Managers can build their own content schedules while HQ ensures brand consistency. For a franchise network, that balance is invaluable. It also translates to growth.

“The before and after of Samsung technology being in place was evident,” said Hinchman. “We’re feeling more efficient. We’re able to operate differently. We’re really driving home what our brand is about because we’re partnering with the right people.”
