Retail’s Big Show, hosted by the National Retail Federation, has come to a close. More than 33,500 attendees flocked to New York City to attend sessions, visit exhibits and demo the latest technology on the showroom floor. As attendees celebrated industry success, they also discussed challenges to helps brands innovate to seize future opportunities.

Retailers want to create new ways for consumers to buy items and engage with their brand. The future shopper is expecting a quality experience – with Millennials leading the pack as the largest population that retailers want to know how to engage with.

Samsung was front-and-center at the event that focused on streamlining the omnichannel experience. One of many innovative products displayed at the event was our facial recognition software from EyeQ. This technology personalizes the in-store shopping experience, using shopper-aware digital displays that interact with consumers, customizing the content to each, and even recognizes and responds to emotion.
