Mobile Phone Security: How to Use Samsung Pass

Looking for a way to simplify mobile phone security? Logins and passwords can get cumbersome. Samsung Pass paired with biometrics offers an easier option, replacing passwords, passcodes and PINs with iris and fingerprint scanning options. This means more needing to remembering passwords – or forgetting them all together.

To get started, simply register an iris scan and a fingerprint, then set up Pass in a few quick steps. Select “Settings,” then choose “Lock Screen and Security.” Scroll down to select Samsung Pass, scroll through the tutorial and sign into your Samsung account. On the Pass page, select Iris or Fingerprint.

Just one more thing to do! Open the Samsung internet app and navigate to a secure website. Log in with your traditional password and confirm that you want to use Samsung Pass in the future. That’s it! Next time you go to that page you’ll be prompted for a biometric login.

Tired of memorizing multiple passwords and typing them repeatedly? With biometric access via Samsung Pass, mobile phone security is swift and simple.

Watch the video above to see how easy it can be to set up biometric authentication on your mobile device.
