“Millennials are team players,” says Carolina Milanesi.

Milanesi, a principal analyst at ‎Creative Strategies, Inc. was at the Mobile World Congress Americas conference in San Francisco last month discussing how millennials are changing the workforce. “[Millennials] want to make sure their employees are empowered to do great work … and are excited about their jobs,” she says.

“Millennials want to support each other and support the people who work for them,” Milanesi said, offering a reminder that many millennials aren’t just employees — they’re managers leading teams. These are newer members of the workforce who prefer a more horizontal management structure and are increasing digital transformation.
