HIMSS is the place to see the latest, most innovative technology that is shaping the future of the healthcare industry. While at the conference in Las Vegas this week, I was able to ask experts, executives and influencers what they are most looking forward to seeing in this space in 2018.
The opioid epidemic has been one of the top conversations while at the show, and many technology companies are focusing on how to address people who need new types of care.

“The ability to objectively manage pain will be so impactful,” Lawrence said.
And when it comes to remote patient monitoring, MobileHelp’s CEO Rob Flippo said “We finally see some companies gaining traction in [this space]. The technology is there, and we’re finally going to be able to provide the services that are needed.”
