At Tamarack, an aerospace engineering and aircraft modification company, travel is part of doing business. With almost a quarter of their employees being incredibly mobile, the company was looking for an opportunity that would make working on the go easier.
The company piloted the Samsung DeX docking station, a mobile desktop experience solution for Galaxy smartphones. It allows users to easily connect to a computer monitor, keyboard and mouse by just plugging into the dock.
“I knew that DeX would allow me to travel more lightly,” says Nicholas Guida, founder of Tamarack. “Not having to carry a laptop everywhere was the biggest benefit.”
