Imran Akbar is VP & GM for Wireless Enterprise at Samsung Networks. His division includes a portfolio of innovative network technologies, including Samsung’s pioneering small cell solutions. Prior to joining Samsung in 2016, Imran was VP & GM for Enterprise Networks for Zebra Technologies, where he launched key wireless locationing solutions, expanded enterprise Wi-Fi to address Enterprise IoT, and executed on programs to build-out product distribution. Prior to Zebra, Imran was VP & GM of Enterprise Networks and Communications at Motorola Solutions, where amongst his responsibilities he led the business unit tasked with building, selling and servicing enterprise-class Wi-Fi products and applications for Retail, Transportation & Logistics, and Hospitality verticals.
