One of America’s largest non-profit credit unions is using digital signage to transform its branches, running engaging visuals on attention-grabbing video walls to energize the branch experience for a membership that doesn’t visit as often since the introduction of mobile and online banking.

Mountain America Credit Union, which has more than 85 branches in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico, worked with Samsung and Utah-based solutions provider RevelTV to develop a branch of the future concept that incorporates three video walls: a showcase three-by-three display feature wall and a pair of one-by-five horizontal accent walls.

The three digital signage walls run independently, but their content, music and lighting can be synchronized to create a consistent message.

Challenged by trying to get both existing and prospective customers into branches — where they can be exposed to more services that aren’t always evident via online and mobile banking — Mountain America selected bright, 700-nit Samsung digital signage display panels whose visual messages are hard to miss, even from the parking lot.
