Samsung SMART Signage with Nu-Way enclosures are the ticket to delivering unparalleled value and satisfaction to quick service restaurants.
Samsung is offering North American partners a golden opportunity to sell and service its outdoor SMART Signage Platform (SSP) to quick service restaurants (QSRs). It’s a fantastic chance to participate in a $15 billion global market for digital signage that’s expected to grow to $20 billion in just the next two years, according to analyst firms Marketsandmarkets and Grand View Research.
It’s a safe bet that partners are going to want fries with that.
QSRs and other fast-food restaurants are moving rapidly from static outdoor menu displays to digital signage for several reasons. Samsung’s outdoor display solution provides the flexibility of updating drive-through menu board content, without costly print runs and installs, and with a low entry cost. Also, the outdoor displays are easier to read and offer more information than static, conventional signs, enhancing customer satisfaction and generating more revenue for QSRs.
With digital menu displays, QSRs can make menu changes dynamically, highlight promotions, and upsell items with targeted media content. According to NPD Group, between 50 percent and 75 percent of fast-food sales occur in the drive-through lane at typical QSRs. Having the ability to dynamically change and update drive-through menus gives QSRs a real advantage and improves the customer experience.
Samsung offers three premium high-bright displays as part of its outdoor SSP aimed at QSRs. The vendor’s OHD Series displays deliver up to 3,000-nit brightness coupled with the only high-bright display on the market with Reflection Canceling Protection Glass that reduces glare and improve visibility. Samsung SMART displays deliver incredible contrast and detail, even in strong and direct sunlight.
Displays, such as the Samsung OH46D, offer an IP56-rated (protected against dust and water) display solution with simplified mounting fixtures right out of the box. This means partners don’t have to devise and construct complex, costly, and custom engineered housing systems. And it gets better. Samsung partners can now offer weatherproofed SMART Signage in enclosures built and installed by Samsung enclosure partner Nu-Way Industries, which offers Samsung partners site surveys, installation, delivery, removal of old equipment, and agreements on next-day service.
With the collaboration between Samsung and Nu-Way, it’s possible for solution providers to offer QSR customers the quick installation time they need to upgrade to Samsung’s SMART Signage platform without disrupting their valuable drive-through business. All that’s needed is a network connection to the enclosure to populate the screen with video, any existing concrete mounting pad, and AC power.
Samsung has also assembled an arsenal of demand-generation tools for partners eager to begin moving SMART Signage solutions to QSR customers. Whether a Digital Signage and Integration (DSI) solution provider or a partner providing Content Management System (CMS) solutions for digital menu boards, Samsung has compiled copious marketing and sales materials to help drive and close business.
Samsung partners looking for effective outdoor menu-board solutions providing dynamic change management and fast delivery to QSR customers just found their value meal.
