How to layer, crop and edit on the Samsung Flip 2

Importing documents and images helps bring discussions to life, and having the flexibility to annotate and edit content adds another layer to collaboration.

The Samsung Flip 2 brings versatility to interactive displays. Teams can import content from the internet or an external source and easily place, manipulate and annotate the documents. If the team wants to keep a clean version of the imported content, the Flip 2 can place a mask on top of it so they can annotate and save the manipulated document separately.

Capturing images and documents on the Flip 2

  1. Import images and documents from any source, including the internet browser, screen sharing, USB or a wired or wireless connection.
  2. You can capture the entire viewing screen by tapping the camera icon within the viewing space to capture a new image.
  3. To capture a specific section within the viewing area, tap the arrow on the bottom of the screen to access the toolbar and select the dotted box icon.
  4. Drag the box to the desired location and resize. Tap the camera icon and the selection will appear as a new image.

To take notes without affecting the roll, you can place a new layer on top of the content using the mask icon found in the toolbar. This allows teams to annotate without affecting the original source. Flatten the notes and save the whole document without affecting the original roll.
