Samsung has been investing in U.S. employees, partners and facilities for 40 years and this week we celebrated our next exciting milestone. I’m proud to say that Tuesday, we opened the new Samsung Solutions Center in the heart of Washington, D.C. at 700 Pennsylvania Avenue SE.
Occupying 28,512 square-feet at the former Hine School redevelopment, the new world-class showcase will be a center of innovation where government customers, policymakers and technology leaders can engage and learn about some of the most advanced mobile technologies in the world.
It was inspiring take part in the opening celebration festivities, which included presentations from DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics, Tim Baxter, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics America and Terry Halvorsen, Chief Information Officer & Executive Vice President of IT and Mobile Communications at Samsung.
5G networks are set to open a new era of discovery and invention, enabling entirely new experiences we can’t even yet imagine. For the federal government, Samsung’s 5G leadership has delivered a transformational building block for finding new ways to solve old problems. From smart environments to enabling advanced capabilities in the areas of IoT, AI and cloud, the 5G ecosystem Samsung is building today will deliver our federal customers seamless and secure experiences that will truly transform mission outcomes.

Today, visitors to the Solutions Center can experience hands-on demos and interact with the latest 5G network, defense-grade security and workforce productivity solutions including Galaxy S9 Tactical Edition, DeX, Knox and more.
Combined with our deep understanding of the federal government’s need for business and mission-tailored technologies, the new center offers a truly interactive and educational space for federal leaders.
