Derek Johnston

Derek Johnston is the head of networks marketing for Samsung Electronics America where he manages marketing and 5G business development efforts for Samsung’s North American Networks division. Joining Samsung in 2015, Derek has nearly 20 years of technical marketing, product management and channel management experience in the wireless industry. Prior to Samsung, Derek led global marketing for Corning’s Wireless division, and previously held a variety of leadership roles at MobileAccess Networks, Aptela and Sprint Nextel Communications.
