How Critical Is Your Smartphone for Work Productivity?

We’re all increasingly reliant on our smartphones for organizing our lives, but just how much are mobile devices replacing traditional PCs in the work environment?

To find out, I sat down with Eric McCarty, Samsung’s VP of B2B mobile product marketing; Tracey Edouard, Mashable’s social media producer and Mona Patel, Motivate’s CEO in New York.

“Workers say they spend a third of their workday using their phone,” McCarty said. “And they can get half of their work done on the phone itself.”

But according to McCarty, “There’s still a real need to balance the security needs of the enterprise and the actual productivity, capability and experience needs of the user.”

How do you quantify the productivity gains delivered by smartphones in the enterprise? Easy – download this study on the smartphone productivity effect.
