We’re all increasingly reliant on our smartphones for organizing our lives, but just how much are mobile devices replacing traditional PCs in the work environment?

To find out, I sat down with Eric McCarty, Samsung’s VP of B2B mobile product marketing; Tracey Edouard, Mashable’s social media producer and Mona Patel, Motivate’s CEO in New York.

“Workers say they spend a third of their workday using their phone,” McCarty said. “And they can get half of their work done on the phone itself.”

But according to McCarty, “There’s still a real need to balance the security needs of the enterprise and the actual productivity, capability and experience needs of the user.”
